BEC provided environmental services to a developer attempting to characterize the extents of the impact to soil and surface water at an old copper mine in east central Arizona. The developer's goal was to mitigate the effects of the historic mining operations and allow development of the property for residential purposes. Redevelopment involved complex negotiations with State and Federal environmental agencies to address soil, surface water, and groundwater regulations.
